Yilingnuo Sanitary Ware Brand Introduction | Zhejiang Yiwu Sanitary Hardware Manufacturer, Providing a Full Range of Products Including Showers, Faucets, Floor Drains, and Valves

XOOBAY

In Yiwu, a hotbed of global trade, countless foreign trade enterprises have started from market stalls and expanded to the world. While most export manufacturers chose the well-trodden path of OEM contract manufacturing and price wars, FIRMER embarked on a completely different journey of going global. FIRMER is affiliated with Yiwu Firmer Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. (formerly Zhejiang Firmer Technology Co., Ltd.). Founded on October 21, 2004, it is a comprehensive sanitary hardware manufacturing enterprise integrating product R&D, industrial design, intelligent mold making, precision manufacturing, quality control, global trade, and brand operations. It is also a one-stop sanitary solution provider rooted in Yiwu and serving the global market. For over twenty years, FIRMER has adhered to an independent brand route, refused OEM private labeling, and grown from a single faucet supplier into a Chinese brand representative in the global sanitary ware sector, bringing sanitary ware products of "Intelligent Manufacturing in China" to the world.

I. Starting from 130,000 RMB: The Original Brand Aspiration in a Single Faucet

On October 21, 2004, the opening day of District 2 of the Yiwu International Trade City, FIRMER started its business venture with 130,000 RMB, beginning with a single faucet. At that time, in the Yiwu foreign trade market, OEM private labeling and high-volume, low-price sales were the mainstream models. Many factories survived by relying on overseas brands, handling large order volumes but earning meager profits, and lacking market bargaining power for a long time. However, FIRMER planted the seeds of a brand right from the beginning: first polishing the products, then establishing intellectual property rights, and finally building global channels steadily. In 2007, FIRMER initiated trademark registration and began its long-term intellectual property layout; in 2008, the entity Yiwu Firmer Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. was established; in 2011, the FIRMER International Brand Marketing Center was set up, developing the company's first batch of regional master distributors in Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, officially sounding the clarion call for the globalization of its independent brand.

II. The Critical Choice in 2012: Rather Not Sell Than Change the LOGO

The year 2012 was a landmark year in the development history of FIRMER. In this year, the company opened a thousand-square-meter "FIRMER Integrated Sanitary Ware Experience Store" and began attracting mid-to-high-end European customers. It was also in this year that FIRMER established an ironclad rule that continues to this day: "We would rather not sell than replace our product's LOGO with someone else's." FIRMER clearly refused to accept OEM private-label and white-label manufacturing orders; all products leaving the factory uniformly carry FIRMER's own brand mark. In the sanitary ware export environment of that time, which was dominated by contract manufacturing, this was a difficult yet determined trade-off. Giving up quick-turnaround contract manufacturing orders meant that the enterprise had to bear short-term revenue pressure, but FIRMER chose to invest all its resources into proprietary product R&D, quality improvement, and brand building.

III. Six Years of Trademark Protection: The Brand Journey Is Never Smooth Sailing

Going global as a brand is never completely smooth. In 2013, the FIRMER trademark was preemptively registered by a third party in an overseas market in the Middle East, launching a six-year trademark protection battle. During this long protection period, FIRMER did not halt its overseas market expansion. While continuously improving its patent portfolio and enriching its product matrix, the company re-screened overseas partners, weeding out traders who merely engaged in price comparisons and short-term reselling, and focusing on distributors genuinely willing to co-build the brand for the long term. In 2019, FIRMER successfully retrieved the preemptively registered trademark, bringing the dispute to a successful conclusion. In the same year, the company upgraded its channels: transitioning from simple export of goods to incubating local brand operators in more than 50 countries and regions globally, establishing over 600 FIRMER specialty stores and brand shop-in-shops independently invested in and operated by local distributors. This signified that FIRMER had truly achieved the leap from "selling products" to "building a brand."

IV. Dual-Core Industrial Layout: Yiwu Global Operations Center + Fujian Smart Manufacturing Base

Today, FIRMER has built a dual-core industrial layout of "Yiwu Global Operations Center + Fujian Smart Manufacturing Base." The two modern production bases cover a total building area of 52,000 m², with an annual output of over 4 million sets of sanitary hardware products. The park houses eight major centers: Global Customer Service, Manufacturing, New Material R&D, Product R&D and Design, Sanitary Accessories Standards, Sanitary and Plumbing Quality Inspection, Supply Chain Centralized Procurement, and Warehousing & Logistics, collectively establishing FIRMER's closed-loop R&D, production, quality control, and service system.

V. Centered on "Water Space": Three-Tier Product Architecture, Assembling a Complete Bathroom in a Single Container

FIRMER has built a comprehensive three-tier product architecture centered on the "water space," covering full-chain sanitary ware needs. The first tier is Control and Conveyance: as a Yiwu faucet manufacturer, FIRMER independently develops faucet products, while also supplying angle valves, ball valves, shower hoses, bidet sprayers, floor drains, basin pop-up drains, as well as piping systems such as PPR, aluminum-plastic pipes, PE pipe fittings, and CPVC; the second tier is Comfort and Experience: FIRMER specializes in shower sets, shower systems, concealed shower systems, shower enclosures, and bathtubs, matched with full-category products such as ceramic toilets and concealed sanitary ware, providing users with a more complete showering experience; the third tier is Cleansing and Bearing: including ceramic toilets, squat toilets, cisterns, washbasins, kitchen sinks, bathroom accessories, bathroom vanities, bidets, pre-filters, and water purifiers. Currently, FIRMER possesses 36 categories and 5,811 SKUs, supporting "assembling a complete bathroom in a single container." Customers can complete multi-category centralized procurement through a single contact window, one set of shipping documents, and one set of certification files, which is also an important reason why many overseas customers have partnered with the company continuously since 2004.

Figure 3: FIRMER Product Coverage Scope

VI. Material Priority: Safety First, Cost Second

In the sanitary ware industry, material choices for many companies are dictated by suppliers and price quotes. However, FIRMER established New Material R&D as an independent department and set an unshakable baseline: for components in contact with drinking water, material selection takes human safety as the primary constraint, with cost and machinability being secondary. FIRMER's headquarters established a New Material R&D Center, with a research scope covering copper alloys in contact with drinking water, polymer piping materials (PPR / PE / CPVC), ceramic glazes, and surface treatment processes. The company believes that cheapness is often not directly reflected on quotation sheets, but rather hidden in the copper grade, lead content, recycled material ratio, and plating thickness. For two faucets of the same specification, quotations can differ by 40%; the difference is often not in the craftsmanship, but in the materials. For FIRMER, environmental protection is reflected not only in material composition, but also during the usage phase. Most of the environmental cost of a sanitary product occurs over its ten-year service life; therefore, water conservation is regarded by the company as the primary environmental indicator.

VII. Water-Saving Technology: 25mm Cartridge, Saving Over Half the Water Compared to Traditional Solutions

FIRMER possesses clear product advantages in the field of water conservation. The company's self-developed 25mm cartridge delivers a flow rate of 6-7.5 L/min under 0.3 MPa water pressure, whereas traditional 30mm cartridges typically have a flow rate of 15-16 L/min. In other words, FIRMER's water-saving solution can save more than half the water. This product achieves a monthly shipment volume of up to 10,000 sets and is stably exported to countries such as the UK, Italy, France, and the UAE. It not only meets European water efficiency regulatory requirements, but also helps water-scarce regions in the Middle East, Africa, and elsewhere reduce water costs. In addition, FIRMER's faucet cartridge switching durability reaches up to 500,000 cycles, and the piping pressure test limit is 16 bar. The enterprise's investment in patented new products accounts for 17.1% of its R&D budget, with dozens of cumulative patent applications, including 6 international patents; over 60% of the products on sale are proprietary innovative developments.

VIII. Three-Stage Quality Control: Ensuring Global Distributors Receive Stable and Consistent Quality

Quality is not achieved through random sampling, but managed through the entire process. FIRMER implements a three-stage, full-process quality control system covering raw material incoming inspection, in-process routing inspection, and finished product outbound inspection, benchmarked against international sanitary product testing standards. Meanwhile, FIRMER's Yiwu Brand Operations Center centrally processes and maintains major global market access certifications, including cUPC, CE, WRAS, WaterMark, SASO, and more. It can provide corresponding certificates, documentation, and reference numbers according to target markets, helping overseas clients enhance their customs clearance compliance capabilities.

IX. 2,520 m² Global Brand Image Exhibition Center: Why Place the Brand Hub in Yiwu?

In July 2026, the FIRMER Yiwu Global Brand Image Exhibition Center was officially put into service. Located on floors T3-13 and T3-20 of the Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center, with a total area of 2,520 m², the exhibition hall serves as the core hub for FIRMER's brand upgrading and global layout, mainly undertaking four functions: global brand image display, showcasing the full product line and complete store image templates; brand management, unifying VI visual identity, product standards, packaging materials, and external communication messaging; global distributor recruitment and marketing planning, carrying out distributor recruitment, regional market strategies, store opening programs, and localized marketing; intellectual property and certification services, coordinating global trademarks, patents, certifications, and infringement countermeasures. The brand hub was placed in Yiwu because Yiwu is a purchasing destination for global buyers as well as a Chinese sanitary hardware manufacturing base. For FIRMER, brand upgrading does not require larger workshops, but rather a trade hub closer to customers that delivers faster feedback.

X. Distributor Recruitment Does Not Focus on Single Order Volume: The Real Threshold Is Brand Awareness, Service Capability, and Long-Termism

The partnership recruitment logic of FIRMER differs from that of many foreign trade enterprises. The company does not use single order quantities as a cooperation threshold, but instead focuses on three key criteria: brand awareness, with a willingness to invest in store image, local promotion, and sales staff training; deep local service capabilities, with warehousing, installation, after-sales service, and channel penetration capabilities; and a long-term perspective, operating the market in three-year cycles. Therefore, FIRMER is not suitable for traders solely seeking the lowest price, buyers requesting shipments under their own private labels, or middlemen who merely flip goods without local service capabilities. FIRMER offers four cooperation models: Exclusive Regional Agency, offering national or regional exclusive authorization with price protection and regional market protection; Brand Exclusive Stores & Dedicated Corners with Turnkey Solutions, offering store design, product display, opening marketing materials, and sales staff training; Engineering Project Cooperation, supporting project quotations, blueprint alignment, batch delivery, and phased shipments; Full-Category Centralized Procurement & Container Consolidation (LCL), supporting multi-category mixed loading, unified quality control, a single set of documents, and one-stop logistics. No matter what stage a client is in, FIRMER adheres to one core principle: only serving brand agents who are deeply rooted in the local market over the long term, and avoiding low-price bulk spot trade.

XI. From Yiwu to Nan'an: Bridging Industrial Belts to Drive Standard Quality for Global Markets

As the President Unit of the Hardware, Kitchen & Sanitary Ware Association of the Yiwu China Commodities City Chamber of Commerce, FIRMER is actively promoting the synergistic development of the two major sanitary ware industrial belts in Yiwu and Nan'an. The enterprise took the lead in establishing Nan'an's first "Sanitary Ware Accessories Standard Centralized Procurement Center" and participated in the related initiatives of the Nan'an Foreign Trade Export Standard Formulation Center. In January 2026, a total of 25 containers of FIRMER standard quality goods valued at approximately 40 million RMB—endorsed by the People's Government of Nan'an City, Fujian Province, and manufactured in the Fujian intelligent manufacturing plant—were dispatched to Dubai, Iraq, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. This model of "Yiwu Operations + Fujian Intelligent Manufacturing + Global Agents" allows FIRMER to respond rapidly to global customers while reliably ensuring production and delivery.

XII. The Five Things Customers Truly Care About: Compliance, Water Conservation, Lead Times, Flexible MOQs, and Brand Support

Through its extensive journey in global expansion, FIRMER has come to realize that overseas customers do not merely look at price, but focus on five core issues. Compliance: Products are tested and certified according to the market access requirements of target destinations; FIRMER can provide cUPC, CE, WRAS, WaterMark, SASO, and other certificates and documents. Water Conservation & Energy Efficiency: Water resource costs are becoming a critical variable in the global sanitary ware market; FIRMER's 25mm water-saving cartridge is more efficient than conventional solutions, complying with European water efficiency regulations as well as Middle Eastern and African market demands. Lead Times: Relying on the dual bases in Yiwu and Fujian, coupled with its own centralized procurement, warehousing, and logistics centers, the company mitigates the risk of capacity fluctuations at a single base, ensuring stable and controllable delivery. Small Batches & Multiple Categories: FIRMER supports full-category one-stop container consolidation and can flexibly set trial order MOQs based on customers' actual needs. Brand Support: Headquarters provides unified store design, display plans, opening marketing materials, sales staff training, and localized marketing plans, empowering agents in all aspects.

XIII. Honors Are Not the Finish Line: Taking Chinese Sanitary Ware Brands Truly Global

With over two decades of dedicated development under its proprietary brand, FIRMER has earned broad recognition across the industry and society. In 2022, CCTV's "Xinwen Lianbo" featured an interview with FIRMER regarding the development of digital trade; in July 2026, Chairman Liu Junming was invited once again to be interviewed for the "Yiwu Development Experience" series on "Xinwen Lianbo", sharing the global expansion journey as a representative of Yiwu foreign trade enterprises.

Figure 5: Liu Junming, Founder of FIRMER Brand, interviewed by CCTV

In addition, the brand story of FIRMER has received special coverage by media outlets such as Xinhua Net, Banyuetan, Economic Daily, Securities Times, and Zhejiang Daily; in 2023, it was selected as one of Yiwu's "Top Ten Global Brands"; the brand's achievements were showcased at the United Nations Office at Geneva and featured in a special report by CGTN Arabic. The company has also successively garnered multiple government recognitions and industry leadership titles: 2020 "Yiwu Good Goods" Strategic Key Supplier, First Batch Member Enterprise of the Yiwu Brand Global Expansion Alliance "10-Billion Club", Executive Vice President Unit of the Yiwu Market Outbound Expansion Association, President Unit of the Hardware, Kitchen & Sanitary Ware Industry Association of the Yiwu China Commodities City Chamber of Commerce, Zhejiang Provincial Dual-Excellence Unit for Public Satisfaction with Quality and Integrity, Consumer-Trusted Unit, and "Chinese Dream" Authorized Unit. Regarding social responsibility, FIRMER has consistently participated in the "Caring Action for Disadvantaged Youth" organized by the Tonglu County Committee of the Communist Youth League, pairing up to support the children of migrant worker families and delivering corporate warmth through practical actions.

XIV. 2030 Goal: To Become a Globally Renowned Sanitary Ware Brand

FIRMER's long-term goal is clear and resolute: Mission: A Chinese brand, a national pride; Vision: FIRMER sanitary ware, bringing happiness to millions of homes; Long-term Goal: To become a globally renowned sanitary ware brand by 2030; Values: Benevolence from the start, soaring aspirations, and steadfast commitment through diligent execution. In 2026, FIRMER plans to add 80 new overseas exclusive brand stores throughout the year, with 41 already opened as of August. For the enterprise, this is not merely an increase in store count, but the continuous validation of its brand globalization capabilities.

Conclusion: Relying on Brand Over Low Prices; Relying on Proprietary Innovation Over OEM

From a booth in the Yiwu International Trade City in 2004 to a Chinese sanitary ware brand covering 175 countries and regions today, FIRMER has carved out a path distinct from traditional foreign trade enterprises. It did not choose short-term OEM processing, but persisted with its proprietary brand; it did not choose low-price bulk trade, but maintained a long-term agency system; it did not leave material issues to suppliers, but insisted on safety first and water conservation priority; it did not limit its brand to a mere LOGO, but integrated R&D, quality control, certification, stores, training, and localized services into a cohesive system. FIRMER's story is an epitome of the transformation and upgrading of Yiwu's foreign trade: true global expansion does not mean just selling goods abroad, but bringing Chinese brands, Chinese quality, and Chinese services into international markets. Moving forward, FIRMER will continue to take Yiwu as its brand hub and the Fujian intelligent manufacturing plant as its production foundation, continuously propelling Chinese sanitary ware brands onto the global stage.

FIRMER FAQs

1. Does FIRMER accept OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) orders?

Answer: Since 2012, we have established a strict rule to only promote our own FIRMER brand. We do not accept unbranded (white-label) or OEM orders from any customers. All factory-dispatched products bear only our own LOGO; we do not replace our products with other brand identifiers, and we only cooperate with long-term brand agents.

2. Does multi-category mixed container consolidation support small trial orders?

Answer: Yes. With 5,811 SKUs across 36 sub-categories, we support mixing multiple categories into a single container without mandatory large-batch MOQs. We can flexibly set trial order MOQs for new overseas customers to meet the need for multiple styles in small quantities during the startup phase, all while offering unified documentation and quality control to streamline procurement.

3. Can the products provide the international certifications required for European, American, and Middle Eastern markets?

Answer: Yes. The Yiwu Brand Operations Center centrally processes and maintains a full set of export market access qualifications, including mainstream certifications such as cUPC, CE, WRAS, WaterMark, and SASO. We can provide original certificates and numbers according to the target destination country. All product testing benchmarks international sanitary ware standards to ensure customs clearance compliance.

4. Are there mandatory purchase volume requirements to become a regional agent?

Answer: We do not set single order volume as a threshold for cooperation. We primarily look for three conditions: brand investment awareness, local warehousing/installation/after-sales capabilities, and a commitment to long-term operations on a three-year cycle. We only decline intermediaries who purely compare prices, flip goods without local services, or lack long-term dedication.

5. Where are the factory and showroom located, and is on-site inspection available?

Answer: The brand exhibition center is located on the 13th and 20th floors of Building T3, Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center, covering an area of 2,520 m², where on-site sample viewing can be arranged by appointment. The production base is the Fujian intelligent manufacturing plant; the two major manufacturing bases have a total floor area of 52,000 m². Clients can select products at the Yiwu showroom first and then arrange a visit to the Fujian factory to inspect production lines.
