Senior front-end PHP engineer

We are looking for a senior PHP engineer with over three years of front-end development experience to join the Xoobay.com team. You will not only need to be proficient in traditional front-end technologies and the PHP ecosystem, but also have practical experience in using AI-powered tools to improve development efficiency, and a deep understanding and application of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
Your primary responsibility is to build and maintain a high-performance, highly available e-commerce platform front-end, ensuring an exceptional user experience and excellent search visibility.
Core Responsibilities
Front-end development and optimization (PHP/JS/CSS):
Experience with PHP (such as Laravel/Symfony frameworks preferred) and related technologies is required. Responsible for the front-end development, maintenance, and feature iteration of the Xoobay.com e-commerce platform.
Ensure high performance, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design in the front-end code.
Work closely with backend engineers to achieve API interface integration and data interaction.
Efficiency Improvement and AI Tool Application:
Actively explore and utilize various AI programming tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, GPTs, etc.) to accelerate code generation, automated testing, refactoring, and bug fixing, thereby doubling development efficiency.
Establish efficient development processes and standards, and encourage the team to adopt AI-assisted technologies in their daily work.
Search Engines and Generative Optimization (SEO/GEO):
Deeply involved in front-end architecture design to ensure that code structure and rendering mechanisms are SEO-friendly, including but not limited to server-side rendering (SSR) practices.
Master the latest Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to optimize content, structure, and metadata to improve visibility and ranking on AI-driven search and content generation platforms such as Google SGE and ChatGPT.
Monitor and analyze the website's SEO/GEO performance, and continuously optimize and improve the technology.
Job Requirements
Experience: Three years or more of front-end development experience, with solid PHP front-end development fundamentals and project experience.
Technical capabilities:
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), and familiar with at least one mainstream front-end framework such as Vue.js or React.
Familiar with the PHP language and understand the application of MVC architecture and PHP frameworks (such as Laravel/CodeIgniter) in front-end interaction.
Familiar with front-end engineering, modular development, performance optimization, and automated build tools (such as Webpack, Vite).
AI/Productivity Tools:
Possesses practical experience using AI-assisted programming tools (such as Copilot, ChatGPT/GPT-4, Claude, etc.) and can provide specific examples of improving efficiency through AI.
It can leverage AI tools for code review, documentation generation, or rapid development of functional prototypes.
Optimization capabilities:
Has a deep understanding of SEO techniques, including page speed optimization, structured data, semantic tags, and mobile-friendliness.
Understand the concept of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and be able to integrate GEO strategies into your daily development.
Soft skills: Excellent communication skills, teamwork spirit, and ability to solve problems independently.
Priority conditions
Those with experience in e-commerce or high-traffic platform development will be given priority.
Familiar with Linux/Nginx environment configuration and deployment processes.
